We investigated variables associated with job satisfaction in a sample of 96 kindergarten teachers in Zagreb kindergartens: "Maksimir", "Travno" and "Zapruđe". We sought to determine whether the impact of work experience and teacher qualifications to the satisfaction of a job. It turned out that there was no difference in job satisfaction with respect to these variables. Furthermore, we wanted to know if there is a preoccupation with business connections and social support in dealing with job satisfaction, and if so, whether job satisfaction can be predicted based on the preoccupation with work and social support at work. Multiple regression analysis showed that there is a statistically significant association of social support at work and preoccupation with job satisfaction. Based on these two predictor variables can be made a prediction of job satisfaction. Greater social support at work and greater preoccupation with work mean greater job satisfaction.
