The paper originally publishes silk furnishing of the interior of two reliquaries in form of caskets preserved in the treasury of St. Anselm’s parish church in Nin. Through visual and technical analysis and the comparison with similar examples known from the bibliographical sources, author suggests the origin of the textile, dating it more precisely than it used to be. Except for the elaboration of some oriental influences that are clearly reflected in the decoration of the lampas, the paper gives notice of the frequent reproduction of similar ornamental patterns in the oeuvres of contemporary painters.
