The letters of the Croatian historian of jurisprudence Baldo Bogisic in Tver

Abstract

Bogisic was the leading Croatian historian of jurisprudence in 19th century. He wrote a couple of letters to Ziznewski asking him for the transcripts of some documents kept in the archives of Tver in Russia. This was very common at the time when archives were secret and the wider public of scholars were not allowed to do individual research in the archives.
