Abstract

During the colder period at the end of 2024 and the beginning of the following year, nine archaeological sites were surveyed across the mainland of Zadar County. A number of prehistoric hillfort settlements were surveyed: Ćosina gradina in Gornja Jagodnja, Gračac Gradina, Mala gradina and Vinac near Stankovci, and Trojan near Stabanj. In addition to Grusi, a Roman-era site near Briševo, several medieval sites were also archaeologically surveyed, namely: Blato on the border of Zadar and Nin, the area around the church of St. Kate in the village of Budak, and Račice near Debeljak.
