Abstract

The work is reflection about needs and possibilities of including preschool education in active preservation and promotion of homeland musical heritage on example of the island of Krk autochtonous music. Rich and diverse common contents, shapes and musical activities from the island of Krk have many centuries of tradition in which participates a large number of the island inhabitants throughout miscellanous generations and some places are nurseries of common music-making. In the empiric section of this work we did testing about parents perception and relationships in including their preshool children on the island of Krk in homeland musical activities and testing of preschool teachers about their musical attitude on homeland musical education.
