Reverend Alojzije Kukec’s personal fund

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to describe the approach of arranging the material of reverend Alojzije Kukec’s personal fund. At the begining of the paper, the authors bring Kukec’s biography in order to understand his life as well as his work. Furthermore, what has also been thoroughly described is the course of action of arranging the reverend’s entire fund, as well as the challenges the authors of this paper have been dealing with before and during the arrangement of the fund. Moreover, the authors have made analysis of the type and the quality of the materials described throughout every series. The conclusion of the paper brings a description of how valuable is Kukec’s personal fund for the National Archives in Gospić, as well as its value for the potential researchers and the entire area of Lika, with emphasis on Gospić and its surroundings. In addition, a detailed list of materials, alongside the table of contents, was added to the end of the paper.
