Although the Plitvice Lakes are world-renowned, much has been written about them, the number of topics superficially or inadequately treated is surprising. One such theme is the visual presentations created in the period when cameras still did not exist or were rare. These visuals of the Plitvica Lakes contain artistic and documentary value, and analyzing the visuals provides valuable insight that complements written records.
