Abstract

In this paper (he aulhor analyses four rings: two found in the vicinity of Ljubač (near Zadar) and other two found in the vicinity of Sisak, all being yielded to the author from die private collection of Drago Drmić, and all being attributed to the medieval period. One ring is typical for the early Croatian graveyards of the 8lh and the beginning of the 9lh centuries at the area of North Dalmatia. Another one has no analogies, but most likely it belongs to the Late Middle Ages. Two odier finds have their origins already in the Late Roman period and they belong not only to the standard repertory of the early Croatian cemeteries but can also be round at cemeteries of various cultural and ethnic groups.
