Abstract

This paper deals with the Slavic pottery finds discovered at the Early Croatian settlement complex developed on the ruins of the Roman housing surrounding Holy Cross church in Nin. The author emphasises the significance of these pottery finds for better comprehending the Slavic settlement-ware development, as not being duly treated in the professional literature up to now. According to the results of archaeological investigations the author dates this Slavic settlement-ware in the second half of the 8th century and the first half of the 9th.
