Behaving in a sensual manner man has symbolized and marked with signs the dynamical processes of the natural world. In the article the author deals with the linguistic representation f day and night as a segment of the macrocosmos which mirrors man’s symbolical answer to the chronic happenings in nature. The author explores the temporal- light continuity in two exemplary Slavic languages: in Polish and in Croatian. She writes about the perception of trans-language reality whose linguistic signifiers are individual lexemes: nouns and verbs.References
