Neologisms as stylistic features in the poetiq language of Boris Vian

Abstract

The paper comes as a result of the study of neologisms in the novel L'Ecume des jours (Foam of the day) which represent one of the basic traits of his poetic expression, and their typology and stylistic function have been defined. In addition, an analogous procedure, i. e. rendering of those neologisms in the process of translation into Serbo-Croatian has been studied and described.
