Examples of acoustic literature - contribution to poetic radiodrama

Abstract

With discovery of radio literature especially drama has been given new possibility of expression. This possibility has been positively exploited in (lie way of radio drama which consequently came into being as a special feature in literary and radiophonic media. Despite significant results which the newly created radio drama contributed to both media, it still has not acquired significant recognition, and its poetics has mainly retained rudimentary features, its terminology is still limited. The aiming aiming to establish dialectic relationship between the esthetic product and cultural consience which shall inevitably have to equate one's conception of radio drama with its real values and the influence it has postulated discusses it mainly in terms of an acoustic phenomenon based on textual model and its realization on air. The author is fully concious of its intradependence and mutual correlation as regards form and substance, that is, concious of their closeness. Discussion entails several examples which were realized in the production of Radio Zagreb.
