Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- Authors who submit their manuscript for publication guarantee that they have adhered to the principles of academic integrity while writing the paper.
- The submitted manuscript has not been previously published, nor is it currently under review by another journal. If the article has been previously published, please indicate it in the "comments to the editor" section.
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word or RTF document file format.
- If you are submitting a paper that will undergo the review process, please remove all author identifications from the manuscript. Also, ensure that the author's name is removed from the document properties (accessible in Microsoft Word through the File menu, Properties).
- If the paper is based on a thesis (undergraduate, master or doctoral), please include the appropriate note in the Metadata section, stating the title of the thesis, the name of the advisor, the defense date, and the university where it was defended.
- If the paper is based on a conference presentation (e.g., short talk or .ppt presentation), please include the appropriate note in the Metadata section, stating the title of the paper, the name of the conference/event, the organizer, and the presentation date.
- By submitting the paper, the authors confirm their willingness to provide the published work under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license.
- The authors affirm that they have obtained the required permissions and have properly addressed the use of copyrighted materials, such as images or any other materials, in the manuscript.
- The manuscript adheres to the formatting guidelines specified in the Author Guidelines, which can be found on the "Submission" page.

Archaeologia Adriatica is an Open Access journal. The content is completely free of charge and available, and it can be deposited in the scientific repositories without fee providing the link to the journal's web pages (https://morepress.unizd.hr/journals/adriatica). Users are allowed to copy, redistribute, alter, transform, or build upon the material, as long as they attribute the source in an appropriate manner according to CC BY licence (Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license).
Authors who publish work in the journal Archaeologia Adriatica retain copyright over their work and the right to publish without restrictions together with publisher of the journal.
