The Nadin Glagolitic Monuments

Abstract

The Glagolitic script was used in the entire Zadar area including its hinterland. There has been an increasing number of Glagolitic documents and codexes found in this area. For Nadin, a book of godars has been preserved, numerous documents which prove that registers of births, marriages and deaths were kept as well as madrigules and various lists, which were all written in cursive Glagolitic.
