In this paper the author finds lexical features in the occasional folk drama Who will give me money written by Artur Lukin, an amateur writer from the Island of Silba. The drama was written in Silba’s local speech from the 1950s. Many Romanisms, as well as other lexemes, have been confirmed in the play, many of which have now disappeared from the linguistic system of the local speech.Downloads
