The concept of coping with stress amongst children and adolescents and ways of measuring it

The article describes the dimensions of coping during childhood and adolescence. The author sets forth the theories and classifications of the strategies of coping, the results of recent research in the field as well as the specificities and the efficacy of the strategies of coping during childhood and adolescence. In conclusion the author offers recommendations for further investigations in this field.
