Abstract

Within a sample of 352 pupils from the second and the third grade from an elementary school in Zadar, age 7.5 Io 9.5 years, 35 pupils (23 boys and 12 girls) were found with dislexic difficulties. This group and a com pun hie group of 35 pupils without ditficullies in reading was administered Bela’s visual retention test (0VKT). form C. Group of children with difficulties in reading made more errors in drawing than the group of normal renders (X=18 and X=9 respectively, 1=24.3. p).
The qualitative analysis of errors showed significant difference in pattern errors, rotation errors, relative size and reprodUelion errors showing thus a poorer performance of children with difficulties.
